Graduated from Trinity in 2005 with 1:1 degree.

Huge interest in sport and the human body: National level basketball and cross country medals and an International Triathlon cap in 2013. I continue to run regularly and compete in Triathlon, although I seem to get worse as the number of children increase 😀

Over the years, I have worked as Team Physiotherapist with Athletics Ireland at a number of events (e.g. Youth Olympics 2013, Europa Cup 2011), Team Physiotherapist with Westmeath 2008-2010 and at the Olympic Games 2012.

  • Advanced Pelvic Floor courses

Special interest in Neck and shoulder pain: Winner of the Prestigious Cyriax Research Award for neck and shoulder pain research 2013. Involved with UL in setting up the online Shoulder Community, a resource for clinicians and clients with shoulder pain. Currently involved with UCC in research into Virtual Reality in treatment of shoulder pain.

Most important job of all, Mum of 4 and juggler of many tasks 😊
